Benjamin and Vicki Ward are serving the local ABWE churches in Togo, West Africa in the area of children’s ministry. Benjamin and Vicki both gave their lives to the Lord as children and felt the call to missions at a young age. As a result, they each pursued a life of missions and ended up in Ghana where they met. Today, they continue to serve the Lord on the mission field where they are also raising their three children.
The Wards are serving the local churches in Togo primarily through both teacher training and vacation Bible schools. Their goal is to see Togolese teachers effectively reaching the children in their communities with the gospel and discipling them. In the next phase of their ministry, the Wards are hoping to see Togolese trainers spread throughout the country in order to equip teachers in every region for children’s ministry. They also enjoy planning fun activities for the MKs.
When you give towards this ministry, you are helping to provide training and materials to Sunday school teachers throughout Togo.

The Wards are currently raising funds for a three month long teacher training course that Child Evangelism Fellowship is hosting in Togo in 2026. Please consider supporting this ministry or the teacher trainers project.
